Sad Whore

This drawing kind of breaks my heart every time I look at it. It seems it is about a wasted life. At the beginning everything is beautiful, the business is hot, and you are young and gorgeous and almost eatable. But the element of “time” does not forgive anybody or anything. It passes like a rapid train in front of us, and pretty soon, it all comes to an end and disappears to its last station.

The sad design shows an old yet still by all means somehow a glamorous and beautiful woman in tears. Why tears? I am asking. She is still gorgeous and sexy after all. So, what if this feeling of being cute and sexy is one of the natural prerogatives of any woman?  Am I totally mistaken and out of reality?

Nevertheless, we have a very sad situation here, and it is that a very unhappy woman in her depraved life, having had sold herself, body and soul for so many years in her life. She finds herself alone, abandoned and old. And yet I am thinking of her, still being so cute and phosphorescent. Maybe only god knows why she chose to sell herself instead of having a normal life as many women, having a normal job and eventually a very nice, handsome and devilish lover.  She could have maybe even had a few gorgeous and cute children, like their mother, running here and there in front of her, at least to give her enough serenity, moral peace and lots of happiness?

However, I imagine that sometimes this kind of situation and sad life usually comes out of destitution, desperation, absolute poverty and of course despair.  It may have resulted from not knowing about life outside the home, or by not having a mother close to you, or not even having a good and kind teacher in school.

However, in spite of the heavy makeup, the false and long eyelashes and added extra colors and trying to fix the remaining beauties especially on her face, she has an unstable and uncomfortable state of mind and body. We see clearly that she has almost hit the bottom of what we call life. That’s why we see the big warm tears within her big eyes and somehow on her still beautiful yet depressed face.

In my opinion, it is partly society’s fault at large, and it must seriously do something positive and constructive about it. Unfortunately, these are our wives, our sisters and god forbid our own children, and I mean our own beloved daughters.
