The design shows an imaginary city somewhere in the Middle East. The exact location as I said is obviously unknown and imaginary, but it still appears to be somewhere in the orient and in the vicinity of a small but very old and a beautiful town. In reality it is a sanctuary, a place of prayer, to be able to rest and have cold and fresh water. Obviously, it is different and bigger than a usual caravan sara’. From the appearance and its beauty, it must be an important place, which is a sophisticated, holy place with its very unique architecture.
We also see different beautiful reflecting pools for all the followers, believers and tired pilgrims to cleanse themselves before their usual prayer, or Namaaz, (daily prayer, in English).
We see the roofs of the houses, the mosque edifices, the rooms to stay, of course some religious and sometimes philosophic madrasas, (schools of theology), and some other big and small religious palaces where someone could even go into religious trances. All of this is naturally surrounded with some gorgeous, tall, lush straight or curving date palm trees with their gorgeous reflections in the water and providing beautiful shade for the old pilgrims.
As I said, there are many arches, entrances and many connecting steps to reach higher rooms and edifices, and of course there are some believers and pilgrims, wandering around, and searching their deep souls, and searching for their true Innerism. In the lower right corner, there are also figures of some destitute old beggars rushing to the shade and holy place to clean their inner soul. They also seek good fresh shelter in a presumably pure and divine place, or maybe at least to get some comfort, finding a piece of bread, a source of fresh water, or even some handouts. Who knows?
However, the place is heavenly quiet and peaceful like any sanctuary. It is a vision of rare human behavior and harmony, brotherhood and ultimately the humble love of humanity.
